Everything changes

It is crazy to see how fast things move in today’s day and age.  Before, journalists had more time to gather information and publish it because there was really only one source for the information, in print newspapers.  Now that the internet is a way of life for 99% of the population everything has changed for not only the reader but also the journalist.  News comes in faster so now news must go out faster.  The book shows step by step ways to receive information at an advanced speed and in an organized setting.  There are multiple different websites and notification settings that a reader or journalist can visit to provide them with the most up to date information.  However, since this has worked so many times before, I feel that someone should take every site that does something like this (Newsreaders, Message Boards, Mailing Lists, Social Media Networks, etc.) and combine them into one site.  I know I am making this sound too easy but I feel like it could be done.  It would work for the simple reason that all of these sites have done the same thing in one way or another.  A site like Facebook took all of a person’s friends and put them in one place.  Twitter is similar to Facebook but lately companies have been working with Twitter to help manage a person’s life revolving around their Twitter account.  Newsreaders take all of your favorite blogs and put them under one reader, so why not take all these sites and put them on one screen.  Something simple for a person to follow, where they can stay up to date on everything at the same time.
