MJ is the only person who could say this to Lebron
I've been saying this for awhile. This is all Lebron is doing is just making excuses for why he hasn't won a championship yet. I know MJ did have Pippen and Rodman but he never talked as much as Lebron does. The only problem I have with MJ is that he claims to be the best to ever play the game. There is no way to know that. I am not saying that MJ isn't a great ball player, he really is one of the best, but the way he goes about it is all wrong. Have some humility man. I see a similarity between him and Lebron; it's that everything is about him, every game the Bulls won was because of MJ, he was the one who carried that team. Things like that make me sick and forget that he is one of the best to play the game. Just like in this commercial (at least I think that's what it is) he claims that everything he did inspired people to be like him and play the game differently. Does he forget that people like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson who are two unbelievable basketball players played before him and are two humble people. Has anyone ever heard of Bird or Magic saying the things MJ said here or in his hall of fame induction speech. Either way, it sucks because MJ really is the only one who could say this and it would make sense, I just don't like the way he said it.

oh dip... this is the greatest thing ever.. and it's so true. Lebron has had everything handed to him. Jordan worked for it. period.
ReplyDeleteI think this whole Lebron thing is blown out of context. Players get traded and switched between teams constantly. So what if he never brough Cleveland a fucking championship, I don't think Michael fucking Jordan could this day and age, even if he was in his prime. So many factors have to be considered, and to compare Jordan to Lebron is apples to oranges. Not all great players win championships, great teams do. Dan Marino is not only my personal favorite QB of all time, but one of the greatest QB's of all time, I would even go as far to say he's better than Peyton and Brady, but he never fucking won a superbowl. I believe that Lebron is probably a better baller than Paul Pierce, but who owns a ring? It's all about teamwork and chemistry, and to these guys this is their career, if your current job is giving you the short end of the stick then you leave for a better opportunity. Cleveland is a shit town and I don't think any of the fans should take shit about Lebron leaving, and any other city that talks shit is just either ignorant and hopping on the Cleveland misery band wagon, or afraid of the potential Lebron has with a better line-up. Only MJ could get away with saying that shit, but even then it's half-cocked cuz I don't remember him bringing Washington any championships.
ReplyDeleteI have seen this many times and agree with you and Brian. Lebron really has had everything handed to him and did not work as hard for it as much as what MJ did. MJ is a legend and a classic. Period.
