The owner of the Segway company, Jimi Heselden, died on Sunday after driving a Segway off a cliff. For most of you after you read that sentence I am sure you will say the same thing I did, how? I have never been on a Segway but I have seen them in action and I am pretty sure you just jump right off of them even if you are 65 years old. I do feel very bad for this guy, I never wish harm to any person but if he could not drive one of these bad boys then he should not have been on it in the first place.
Police say it was an accident and that it is not suspicious, that sounds right. A Segway that can barely break 10 mph was driven off a cliff and killed a man. He either knew what he was doing or someone killed him. The police need to wake up and start investigating his company.
well.. this is pretty insane.. I'm going to assume he had to have been looking to die. I mean c'mon you ride a segway off a cliff. I just don't see how you didn't see it coming.
ReplyDeletehahah Wow. I am with Brian on this. I mean, something doesn't seem right. He clearly should have had time to jump off the thing before it went off of the cliff. Maybe it all just happened so fast and he didn't have time?! Ehh, who knows. But, I am with you Brian and Steve. This story really is insane. Especially since he was the OWNER of the company....How did he NOT see it coming?! lol

ReplyDeleteMaybe he was just sick of living and he figured a great way to go would be while doing something he obviously loved. hehe. Maybe he knew of all the attention he'd get and wanted to die in a crazy way.
ReplyDeleteThis is really sad- it is. Butttt..what if say it was like a really small cliff and he survived.. Hed have to live the rest of his life as "the guy who accidentally drove his segway off a cliff" SO embarrasing.
